Owner + Creator
Hi, my name is Shannon and I am the owner of Third Eye Wicks. I established this candle business in 2021. When I’m not hand-pouring candles, you can find me out on the trails hiking + exploring. Much of my inspiration for Third Eye Wicks is derived from nature. I believe in all things holistic + natural as possible whether it’s what we put in our bodies or the lifestyles we choose to live. I wanted to create + deliver products that I truly believe in + that resonate with how I strive to live life everyday - natural + organic. All of Third Eye Wicks candles are handcrafted using only natural and/or organic components.
Story Behind the Name
The Chakra Candle is the original backbone behind the company name, specifically the “Third Eye” (6th chakra), which is located in the center of the forehead, between the eyebrows. It represents intuition, foresight, and is driven by openness + imagination. It is also believed to be linked to perception, awareness, and spiritual communication. I wanted to originally create an all-natural + organic Candle Line that incorporates all Seven different Chakras, the healing crystals that coordinate with them, plus the essential oil fragrance that aligns with each Chakra to provide a deeper sense of spiritual connection all by the experience of burning a single candle.
Why Soy Wax?
Most of our candles are primarily made out of Coconut Soy Wax which has a bright white color + burns the cleanest compared to other types of waxes. Coconut Soy Wax has a superior scent throw which produces long lasting + strongly scented candles. Another benefit of using Coconut Soy Wax is the slow burn time making your candles last much longer. Coconut Soy Wax Candles are the most Eco-Friendly type of candle to produce. They are non-toxic, burn clean + emit no smoke or soot.

Luxurious + All-Natural Fragrances. Using only unique + sophisticated fragrance oils + pure essential oils from around the globe. Every fragrance contains only ingredients from nature and no synthetic additives. They are Cruelty-Free, Vegan + Phthalate-Free as well.
Why Wooden Wicks?
Wooden Wick. The use of a wooden wick instead of cotton gives a more unique visual effect + design. On a Eco-Friendly standpoint, wooden wicks are easy to use, saving time + money in production. Wooden wicks have little to no carbon build-up, no debris and no sooting like cotton wicks. Wooden wicks are completely American made, being sourced and manufactured in the USA from the Forest Stewardship Council.

Beeswax Coco Crème (Used in all the Massage Candles) are clean Burning, Biodegradable + 100% Natural. Renewable, ethically sourced + Non-Toxic. Cruelty-Free, Vegan, Carcinogen-Free. Beeswax Coco Creme Wax + Fragrances used for Massage Candles are Skin Safe (Clinically tested + dermatologist reviewed).
Hemp Soy Wax
Hemp Soy Wax is a Vegan Blend of Natural Hemp, Soy, Coconut + Food-Grade Paraffin Wax. It has a creamy-white appearance. Gluten-Free, Toxin-Free, Phthalate-Free + comes from Renewable Resources.
